On August 28, 2021, Love in Music celebrated the grand opening of its South Bay branch at Torrance First Presbyterian Church. The event brought together 41 attendees, including dedicated Korean teaching volunteers, students, and other supporters. The South Bay branch will offer free weekly music lessons every Saturday, providing instruction in violin, piano, and flute.
The South Bay branch continues the legacy of the Gardena branch, which started in 2016 with five teaching volunteers from Palos Verdes Peninsula High School at Korean South Bay Presbyterian Church in Gardena. With the closing of the church due to COVID-19, Love in Music was fortunate enough to continue serving the community in the South Bay area in partnership with Torrance First Presbyterian Church.
