Santa Ana Branch
Time & Date: 10 am, Saturday, August 16, 2024
Venue: Middle School Center of Irvine Onnuri Church
Love in Music presented Community Leader Awards recognizing the outstanding service of our volunteers during the 2024–25 school year. These honors were given by:
(1) U.S. Congress (Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition)
(2) California State Assembly (Certificate of Recognition)
(3) LA County Board of Supervisors (Commendation)
(4) LA City Council (Certificate of Recognition)
At a time when the President’s Volunteer Service Award (PVSA) program is still suspended nationwide, Love in Music is especially proud to recognize the dedication of its volunteers through these meaningful community leader awards. Their service not only enriches the lives of underserved children through music education but also inspires many to join our mission.
This was our second kickoff event following the Los Angeles branch’s on August 9, with our South Bay kickoff coming up on August 23 in Torrance, CA.

Prior to kicking off the new school year, both new and returning volunteers of our Santa Ana Branch gathered to joyfully greet one another
after a long summer break. With refreshments kindly offered by their parents, Love in Music recognized outstanding volunteers during the
2024-25 school year by presenting award certificates given by the four community leaders.

These are the members who have newly joined for SY 2025-26, being welcomed and introduced to the LM-Santa Ana Community.

Our Parent Support Group (PSG) kindly took the time to prepare a special “Happy Hour” for both new and returning volunteers.

Gloria Lee, Executive Director in charge of operating Love in Music programs in three locations, is welcoming everyone with a brief program
orientation for the new school year.
