Love in Music – South Bay Branch 
We joyfully kicked off the 2025–26 school year with our class opening & award presentation on August 23, 2025, at our partnering church in Torrance – Torrance First Presbyterian Church (Education Hall, 2nd Floor). Students, teachers, and families came together to celebrate the new year, honor our dedicated volunteers, and share in the excitement of what’s ahead. While some students and teachers are still away before the semester begins, the spirit of community and music was already shining in the face of our team. 
For the outstanding volunteers whose attendance rate is higher than 85% during SY2024-25, Love in Music recognized them with the community leader awards given by
(1) U.S. Congress (Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition)
(2) California State Assembly (Certificate of Recognition)
(3) LA County Board of Supervisors (Commendation)
(4) LA City Council (Certificate of Recognition)
At a time when the President’s Volunteer Service Award (PVSA) program is still suspended nationwide, Love in Music is especially proud to recognize the dedicated community service by its volunteers through these meaningful community leader awards. Their service not only enriches the lives of underserved children but also inspires others to join our mission.
