Teachers and students stand side by side, sharing the joy of music with the Santa Ana community
Love in Music volunteers and their students shared a joyful musical moment at a community event hosted by KidWorks, Love in Music’s partner serving youth and families in Santa Ana since Nov. 2010.
At the invitation of KidWorks, Love in Music volunteers proudly took the stage to present a collection of classical pieces together with their young students—many of whom had only recently begun their musical journey through the organization’s free instrument lessons. It was an especially meaningful occasion as teachers and students stood side by side on stage, celebrating the progress made through months of dedication and practice. The performance captured the spirit of Love in Music’s mission: bringing communities together through music while opening the world of classical music to children who might otherwise have limited access to it.
For the young performers, the experience of playing alongside their teachers in front of a community audience was both exciting and inspiring. Their smiles and enthusiasm reflected the confidence they had gained through the encouragement of their volunteer mentors. Love in Music is grateful to KidWorks for providing this opportunity and for its continued partnership in supporting children and families in the Santa Ana community.
