The Los Angeles Branch of Love in Music, following a special meeting at the South Bay Branch in the morning, held a special meeting at 2 pm on 8/10/24 to present this year’s President Volunteer Service Award (PVSA) and a community leader award to eligible volunteers whose attendance rate was 90%+ during SY 2023-24, by Hon. Karen Bass, Mayor of the City of Los Angeles.
After the award presentation, a breakout session followed per instrument for teachers and students to meet and share what was the most fun part during the long summer break and discuss plans to prepare for another exciting new school year together.
