On Saturday, March 28, 2026, our Santa Ana Branch enjoyed the visit of our Music Director Dr. Gene H. Moon for class observation, meeting with our support coordinators, and in-coaching/rehearsal of our volunteer ensemble for the opening music ‘España Cañí’
During his visit, Dr. Moon observed a variety of classes, met students and volunteers from different instrument groups, and offered encouragement and feedback throughout the day. He also gave a brief lesson to an advanced piano student during his classroom tour. One of the highlights of the visit was his in-person coaching session with the volunteer ensemble as they prepared “España Cañí” for the upcoming Annual Concert. Dr. Moon also met with the Santa Ana support coordinators to discuss concert preparation, volunteer leadership, and future plans for the branch. His visit was a great encouragement to both students and volunteers, and we are very grateful for his time and support.
Following classes at our Santa Ana Branch, members of our Volunteer Ensemble gathered for a special rehearsal led by Dr. Gene Moon, Music Director of Love in Music. The ensemble is preparing “España Cañí,” arranged by A. Wang, as the opening music for this year’s Annual Concert. We are grateful for Dr. Moon’s leadership and for the dedication of our volunteers, who continue to share their time and musical gifts with our students and community.
