Approaching our 19th year of service, we are looking for musically trained/equipped volunteers to join our mission. Recruitment takes place twice a year:
December for the Spring Semester
July for the Fall Semester
– Applicant(s) should commit to a minimum of 2 hours for weekly lessons on Saturdays (10 AM – 12 PM in Santa Ana Branch; or 2 PM – 4 PM in Los Angeles and Torrance, depending on their location.
– If you are passionate about giving back to the community by sharing your musical gifts and skills, we encourage you to sign up for a volunteering opportunity as a registered volunteer. – A letter of recommendation endorsing the community service may be provided only for the volunteers whose work and service level are considered higher than others and exemplary. – In addition, all registered volunteers are required to attend all Love in Music-Hosting Events including the Annual and Seasonal Concerts as well as Volunteer Training Online Seminars.

If you have new or pre-owned classical instruments in excellent condition can help us reach out more children in need of free opportunities to learn.
01. Volunteer as Teacher or Admin Coordinator
If you wish to give back to the community, you are welcome to sign up as either teaching or coordinating volunteers with Love in Music.
– Please submit a pre-screening application form for review/approval:
Once this pre-screening application for review and approval is completed, you will receive an email welcoming you to proceed with the formal application / onboarding process from Love in Music, and a zoom call or a phone interview may be arranged for adult applicants. For high school applicants whose age is 18 years or younger, a phone interview with the applicant or parent(s) may be arranged.
02. Make a Financial Donation
Your support helps sustain our free music programs.
As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization (Fed Tax ID# 26-152911), all financial donations made in support of Love in Music are Tax-Deductible. At the end of each year, we provide certificates of donation to all our supporters for tax-reporting purposes.

You can help provide children with access to classical instruments in proper condition. If you have any classical instruments that can be used by our students without any repairs, please contact us at info@loveinmusic.org.
We will be happy to arrange delivery or pickup. However, due to lack of space to store or keep large size instruments such as upright or grand pianos in need of professional delivery, we regret that we are unable to accept donations of such kind. As Love in Music is being operated exclusively with the support of the community, we sincerely appreciate your joining us to be a part of Love in Music in any way possible.
