Love in Music Performs at Santa Ana Community Festival

, ,

In the early years of Love in Music’s outreach efforts, our Santa Ana group of teaching volunteers and students had the special opportunity to participate in a community festival in Santa Ana on March 11, 2010.

At the time, Love in Music had just begun building its program with young beginner students and dedicated volunteer teachers. Despite being a newly formed group, our volunteers courageously stepped forward to share music with the community.

During the festival, beginning violin students performed together with their teachers on an outdoor stage, creating a joyful and memorable moment for the audience. For many of these children, it was their very first public performance, making the experience both exciting and meaningful.

The performance quickly drew attention from festival visitors, and the organizers generously invited Love in Music to perform on a special stage during the event. The enthusiastic response from the community encouraged both the students and volunteers, reinforcing the value of bringing music education to underserved children.

The festival itself was a vibrant celebration of the Santa Ana community, featuring traditional cultural performances, including colorful Hispanic folk dances, music, and family activities. Love in Music was honored to be part of this multicultural celebration.

Looking back, this event remains a cherished memory in the history of Love in Music. It reflects the spirit that has guided the organization since its early days—sharing music, building confidence in young students, and connecting communities through the joy of performance.
