Josh Jihoon Kim (Piano)

When I first started volunteering at Love In Music, I was a shy freshman who did not have any experience with teaching. At first, I was hesitant. I did not know anyone, and I was not confident in my teaching skills. The idea of being responsible for helping teach someone felt intimidating. However, the people around me, especially my friends, helped me feel more comfortable and supportive. As I grew confident in my teaching abilities, Love In Music genuinely became something I looked forward to. Through this experience, I learned more than just how to teach music. I learned how to connect with people, how to adapt, and how small moments can build lasting impact. The relationships I formed with my students and fellow volunteers are something I will always treasure. I am incredibly grateful to Love In Music for giving me the chance to be part of something meaningful.
