A memorial concert was held in Los Angeles’ Koreatown on April 26, 2014, to honor the victims of the Sewol ferry disaster, which sank off the coast of Jindo. The event, named “Hope 4 Seoul Miracles,” gathered 200 participants, including Koreans and people of other ethnicities.
The commemoration included a candlelight prayer, Love in Music’s small tribute concert under the direction of Yoon Jae Park, and a Salpuri (traditional Korean dance) performance.
Love in Music’s directors, Daniel S. H. Lee and Heidi Koh, emceed the event, which was prepared for the last 24 hours.
