6-30-2023 Creative Recovery Grant: We are thrilled to announce that the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors, through the American Rescue Plan Act and Department of Arts and Culture, has selected Love in Music as a recipient of the Supplemental Creative Recovery Grant! This new funding follows our initial Creative Recovery LA Grant awarded in June 2023, recognizing our efforts in providing free music education to youth from underserved communities as it is one of the most economically significant and hardest-hit sectors, while leveraging the unique capacity of arts and culture to catalyze our region’s economic recovery, civic connectivity, and community wellbeing.
7-30-2024 Supplemental Creative Recovery L.A. Opening Culture, Tourism, and Marketing Initiative Award: Recommended by the Los Angeles County Department of Arts and Culture, Love in Music won a supplemental Creative Recovery L.A. Reopening Culture, Tourism, and Marketing Initiative Grant. This funding was made possible by the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors through the American Rescue Plan Act to support the further recovery of the arts and culture sector through activities to promote and market arts programming to diverse audiences and program participants.

This grant is a tremendous encouragement as we continue our 17-year mission to build harmony and unity through music. Love in Music is a volunteer-powered organization that has persevered through financial and logistical challenges, including the loss of our administrative office during COVID-19. We are deeply grateful to all who support our work and share in our mission to create a loving, inclusive community for our young musicians.
