WELCOME TO LOVE IN MUSIC
Love in Music is a registered California non-profit 501(c)(3) charity organization (Federal Tax ID# 26-0152911), dedicated to promoting harmony and unity through the universal language of music. While we work on launching our new website, we invite you to learn more about our mission and how you can get involved.
Founded in 2007, Love in Music aims to foster harmony and inclusiveness by providing free music education to underserved children aged 5-12, whose access to music education is limited. Our mission was inspired by the need to prevent divisive experiences like the 1992 L.A. Riots. Over 18 years, we’ve reached over 1,000 young children from diverse communities, supported by musically trained high school volunteers. Despite severe financial challenges, we have continued our free music education programs in three Southern California locations.
MISSION STATEMENT
As a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to fostering harmony, inclusiveness, and cultural understanding through free music education for underserved children aged 7-12, our mission is to empower youth, bridge cultural divides, and provide positive educational opportunities by connecting children with musically trained volunteers.
VISION
We envision an inclusive community where children of all backgrounds connect and thrive through shared musical experiences. Our goal is to break down cultural barriers and foster lasting intergroup solidarity.

CORE VALUES
1. Equity: Every child, regardless of background, deserves access to music education and the opportunity to express their talents.
2. Inclusion: Our programs embrace the diversity of Los Angeles County, engaging children from all underserved communities, regardless of race, ethnicity, or cultural background.
3. Collaboration: We partner with local schools, community organizations, and volunteers, promoting teamwork among youth and adults from diverse cultures.
4. Healing and Unity: Through music, we promote understanding, provide safe spaces for connection, and build racial harmony.
